Role Description
Terawatt is creating a new asset class of EV charging infrastructure to support the rapidly growing fleet EV market. Working on the cutting edge of electrification, the Product Manager will play a critical role in developing products that will delight our customers and facilitate the electrification of their fleets with the greatest amount of ease.
The key function of the Product Manager will be to articulate a long-term product vision that is responsive to our customer’s needs and market conditions. You will develop a deep understanding of the industry and create a product roadmap that will meet the unique needs of a wide variety of fleets. The Product Manager will work in close collaboration with, and drive alignment of, our internal Engineering, Business Development, Finance, Real Estate and Project Development teams.
In this nascent market, our customers’ needs and the available technology are rapidly evolving, requiring a responsive and dynamic set of product offerings. In many cases, customers will be engaging with a charging product for the first time and you will be responsible for defining their experience. You will be able to drive impact by enabling customers to electrify fleets more easily, helping their companies transition to low-emission transport.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and define the product roadmap for Terawatt charging products, leveraging market insights, independent research, and the synthesis of perspectives from internal stakeholder teams.
- Design the product definition and strategize the go-to-market approach for Terawatt charging products.
- Engage directly with customers and partners to comprehend their needs and concerns, translating this feedback into innovative product solutions.
- Innovate and swiftly develop creative product solutions that delight customers and adapt to the evolving electrification landscape.
- Utilize strong technical, analytical, written, and presentation skills to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including customers, investors, lawyers, and internal teams.
- Act as a leading evangelist for the electrification of transport and Terawatt’s pivotal role in its realization.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field, such as product management in electric vehicle charging, OEM, energy, transportation, technology, or management consulting.
- Significant exposure to electric vehicle charging and a comprehensive understanding of its technical aspects.
- A proven track record of driving innovation, developing, and executing integrated infrastructure solutions that address customer needs.
- Proficiency in managing product roadmaps, developing new processes, and launching new products.
- The ability to devise product offerings, deals, and pricing structures for emerging markets with limited precedents.
- Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to achieve consensus, integrate feedback from diverse subject matter experts, and demonstrate emotional intelligence.
